DANIEL CARROLL
  • Why?: What do you hear or notice about the world today? Right now nearly everything shown or noticed about the world shows how chaotic the world truly is and how it isn't on a good path. Why does the world focuses more on the bad than the good? Why does everytime someone mentions changing the world nobody is doing the steps or the small things needed to begin change? This is why the DWA was created! To show the world that there is hope, that people are trying to change for the better, that the people of our world are up for the challenege, that the world can wait no longer. DWA stands for Determined World Action for a reason. So let the world get up and change for the better. Lets take action! lets change everything and make history!

  • Our Goal:  To show that people want to change the world and to give them recognition for the good that they have been doing, while at the same time change the mind of our youth to understand that the world needs change and the change can be done by YOU!

Why DWA?

CEO and founder of DWA

I created the DWA because of the terrible path our world is approaching. I'm tired of seeing so much negative on a day to day basis. Not only this, but the people constantly talk about world change never try to change it themselves. Let's not talk about change but be the change and show the world that people want change and that the world can work together for change. This can only begin when that first step has been taken. DWA will be that first step towards change.

CEO and co-founder of Soar

What drove me to create Soar was my desire to give teens/young adults a voice for their passion for change.  Much like Daniel, I want to help change the world for the better and Soar is my way of doing that.  I also love music and poetry, so I incorrperated the things I love into this non-profit

What is Soar?

Well I'm glad you asked.  Soar is an open mic for teens who write their own music, poetry, and raps on social and world issues.  The audience pays an admission fee which is later given to the performer who they thought had the best performance.  The winner keeps half of the money for themselves (because everyone likes a little extra cash) and donates the other half to a non-profit or charity of their choice.

Join the movement and let's Soar together.
